چکیده

Delta-Processing (DP) is a suitable heat treatment process aiming at controlling grain growth during hot deformation of the well-known Ni-base superalloy Inconel 718 (IN718). DP often applied by heating up to 900 °C for 24 h in order promote δ-phase saturation prior deformation. In addition δ-phase, Mo and Cr-rich carbides form M23C6 may also precipitate subsequent this alloy range 950–1000 These are induced can affect static dynamic recrystallization matrix. The objective current work understand precipitation when material has been saturated with precipitation, as well their interaction phenomena. For purpose, series double-strain compression test (double-hit) were carried out. Several holding times between first second hit derive softening/hardening fraction progress time. Microstructural characterization samples was performed through Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) X-ray diffraction (XRD) identify precipitating/dissolving phases under each testing condition.
